You provide easy-to-follow yet awesome directions! I've seen something similar in a reversible, double-sided, baby afghan using the shell stitch. It's beautiful, just as this is. Once again, you are a wonderful and patient instructor. Thank you for your tutelage.

It will make it a lot thicker. I tried carrying the yarn and found I like cutting instead. You should go ahead and carry the yarn if you choose to since it will work.

You are welcome. I have been running other stitches through my head where this technique may apply. Thank you for the comment, I appreciate it.

You should post a pattern where you use this stitch technique, so we can get the hang of it. I can't really think of something where I would need this off the top of my head.

Also, you used an even number of stitches. I'm thinking it would be just as easy with an odd number. Am I right?

You can use cotton yarn for a potholder or acrylic yarn and a larger size crochet hook to make an afghan. It would also make a pretty rug. You can make your chain any length you want to. I am working on a potholder with 30 stitches. I started with 31 chains.

As usual always creative! :) I think this would go pretty nice if used in a shrug pattern, but may need to do some type of trim around the whole thing first before you sew together the arms. Okay off to find what a Front Double Crochet is. i know you mush have it somewhere in your videos! :)

There are a couple stitches you could be referring to. There is a front post double crochet OR crochet in the front loop only.
