@namasayaDiana
Hard to describe the taste.
They taste like you would not expect.
I really can’t find something similar.
I couldn’t find buttermilk either but I did some research and I found a type of yogurt with similar low fat content, and more acidic. Look at content of buttermilk on wiki. I added a bit of lemon juice like it said in some recipe for substituting buttermilk too.
But anyway.. to answer your question… I can’t. Make ‘em. It takes less than half an hour start to finish.
love

@Trinfidelity I’m sorry, I know this question’s gonna sound really stupid, but how does buttermilk biscuits taste? And please don’t tell me it tastes like buttermilk because I’ve never seen buttermilk being sold where I live. Do reply! Thank you!

He’s gonna think someone broke and and baked some strange and delicious biscuits.
June 22nd, 2010 at 4:02 am
I must WARN you about something.
These biscuits are MUCH BETTER tasting than they look. And they do look good.
I just ate one right now. I just took them out of the oven.
I got them on my first try thanks to his instructions and exactly respecting the ingredients on the site. I’m SO happy. … just took to baking yesterday.
THANKS John!
P.S. Oh my GOD how good they are. I should have doubled the ingredients.
Wait till my brother wakes up in the morning and finds them.. he’s gonna panic.

Great video! Love the detail and the great visuals. Nothing more irritating than an instructional video that just basically reads the recipe card to you, shows a few seconds of each step and then the finished product. This was very well done and informative.

If you really wanna hurt somebody, make this recipe with his buttermilk fried chicken recipe, it’s go’ be on!

Tnxs 4 posting this! I’ve bought tongue from a farm shop (in Scotland) on a whim with no idea what 2 do with it! I believe if we eat meat we should eat as much of the animal as we can -min waste is ethical. We’r 2 squeemish & take choice cuts of meat n bin the rest. I’ll follow ur recipe n if I like it I will order tongue from a place I usually order from, they’re ‘seasonal, sustainable and traceable’ sound a bit like u. Love what ur doing n will do my first ever video reply to this recipe

I prefer the lengua quesadillas. They are addicting, so cheap, fresh and convenient – and fast
Great video! I will try the tacos. Although, it’s so hard not to order the quesadillas.. ha
