@NWADILMA scotch guard is the spray that you can spray on shoes,so they are more resitant to water, i think all supermarkets should have it

Scotch guard can be purchased at home depot or lowes. I’d want to line that pan with aluminum foil before I went to town with a can of scotch guard though!
This looks fun. I’ll have to make some! It reminds me of the trick where you mix cornstarch and water to make a substance with properties of both a liquid and a solid.

It doesn’t really matter what the temperature is…. They’re rocks, they won’t burn.
But I’d say 200 degrees centigrade.

What if your sand is already wet? Can you change step 1 to bake for two hours because it is extra moist? I’m doin this as my science fair project!! (:
