Quick-Draw Sleeve Gun : BFX : Build
Robert De Niro built it in Scorsese’s ‘Taxi Driver,’ but Erik Beck builds it for cheap! In this episode, Erik builds the infamous Quick-Draw Sleeve Gun that is most recognizable in the 1976 film ‘Taxi-Driver,’ but also appears in ‘Desperado’ and ‘Alien Ressurection.’ You could also use this to build the hidden blade from the video game Assassins Creed. Using the slider from a drawer and masterful welding, Erik creates his own version of this secret weapon. Don’t forget to check out the BFX ‘Original Short’ for this build, too.

@bouchandre Oh, I’m sorry I have something better to do with my life then sit on my ass and play childish video games all day. And If you really wanted to put it in a video (which we all know you don’t) you’d know that it would be very easy to make it look like it retracted (i.e. play the footage backwards).

Maybe next time don’t do a “SUPER” time lapse, maybe do a “DETAILED, STEP BY STEP, EASY TO FOLLOW, INSTRUCTIONAL” time lapse, If Gary posessed the capacity and the opposable thumbs to do so he would probably build one of these and blow his puppet brains out.

I can’t believe people are requesting the “hidden blade” on this video. How incredibly moronic do you have to be to NOT realize that you can just swap the gun for a knife?
And we all none of you are actually planing on using it in a film; you just want it purely so you can show your friends and feel superior to everybody else because you have it.
